Evangeline Fox has always believed in true love and happy endings, but that is until she finds out that the person she loves will marry someone else.

Evangeline makes a pact with the charming but evil Prince of Hearts in an attempt to break up the wedding and mend her broken heart. He requests three kisses, to be offered whenever and whenever he pleases, in return for his assistance.

However, following her first promised kiss, Evangeline discovers that dealing with an immortal is risky and that the Prince of Hearts has far higher expectations of her than she had first stated.
